Preseason is getting a hot start with loads of events and chances to earn loot! The first KartRider: Drift Racing Pass is available now with a suite of rewards to earn as you rise through the ranks. If you're new to KartRider: Drift, take a look at the Game Introduction Page to learn more about this new kart racer! You can unlock new appearances for the characters, customize your karts with new additions and custom-made decals, and more. Pick between 16 characters and 25 karts and go for gold in Speed Mode or battle against your friends in Item Mode. There are no more resets or progress wipes from here on out! Last but not least, a global chat I feel would be a good feature to include as well, as I feel that having one allows the player base of the game to feel just a bit more connected and creates a better sense of community, this feature is already seen on KartRider Rush+ and I think it was a pretty welcomed addition that the original KartRider did not have.Welcome to the KartRider: Drift Preseason! Racers from around the world can hop in their karts and hit the tracks on Steam, Nexon Launcher, Android, and iOS devices. If voice chat is to be included, I believe a good way of implementing it would be to have the option to mute everyone with the exception of a group of people, be it those who are on your friend's list, party, club, etc., similar to how other games have been handling voice chat nowadays. Voice chat would be a nice addition, however, as others pointed out here, I don't believe it's a necessity for KartRider as I feel that it can introduce toxic behavior which is a lot more difficult to moderate than it is to moderate text-based chat. The ability to text chat, of course, be it in the pre-game lobby, and post-race. That is, the ability to create a public lobby and have anyone be able to join so long as there are enough spots available. A social system that is similar to a combination of the original KartRider and Rush+ would be nice.
